KC Minor Hockey celebrates a great season!

Another hockey season is in the books! 

KC Minor Hockey celebrated all eight teams from U11 to U18 this past week at the Columbus Centre!  Family and friends had one last chance this season to gather together and cheer on their favourite players and teams, as another great season came to an end.  Coaching staffs took the opportunity to thank their players for a year of hard work and development, awarding three Esso medals per team.  Medals were given out for Most Dedicated Player, Most Improved Player, and Most Team Spirit -- congratulations to all the recipients...although as most coaches noted, these weren't easy decisions, as many could have been given to numerous deserving players!

Like every season, there were wins and losses, tournament championships and early exits, big goals, huge saves...but hopefully more than anything, a ton of smiles and laughs, and friendships and memories to last a lifetime.

As always, we'd like to thank all of the people who made this season possible.  Thank you to all the players for giving your all this season.  Hopefully you had a great time over the past eight months, and that you're walking away with a sense of pride and accomplishment, and a bunch of new friends for life. :)  Thank you to the coaches and managers for all the time you put in to help these kids grow, both individually and as a team.  We appreciate everything that you do, and the selflessness with which you do it!  Thank you to the players' families and support networks -- without your dedication, encouragement, and commitment, there wouldn't be a team to coach! :)
